Stratco Patio Installation Guide and Process
1 - Measure & Quote
Outdoor Impressions contacts you to schedule a time to do a measure and quote, this consists of talking to you about the design of the Outback® that you are interested in while also sharing our experience and expertise in what would suit your particular area and needs best. In most cases we will always endeavour to provide you with a supplied and installed price on the spot.
2 - Sign Up
If you would like to go ahead with the quote, our Outdoor Impressions staff will come out and finalise the design and colours of your Outback®. They will discuss the time frame of installation and collect any documents required for permits e.g., site plan, certificate of title and rates notice.
3 - Permits
Outdoor Impressions organises the permits: whether it be a Planning Permit, Building Permit or Warranty Insurance you will have this taken care of by our staff. The length of your permit process can be anywhere from 2 weeks for a building permit or at least 6 weeks for a planning permit, not in all cases will you need a planning permit, this will be discussed at the quoting stage.
4 - Material Ordered
Once the permits have all been finalised and returned to Outdoor Impressions from our building surveyor or your local council we can then process the order for your materials with our manufacturer Stratco.
5 - Installation Booking
Stratco will then send through a confirmation of delivery date for your materials, which depending on design materials can take anywhere from 2 – 4 weeks, staff will contact you to confirm a date that will suit your needs and lifestyle.
6 - Verandah Installation
The material will be delivered the day before installation, if installation occurs on a Monday the material will be delivered the previous Friday.
A time frame will be allocated on the booking date and weather permitting all efforts will be taken to complete your job ahead or on time.
It is not necessary for you to be home on the day of installation, as long as the installers have access to the area and power they will be able to commence there work.
Depending on the design and size of the unit the installation can be anywhere from one day to 5 days, this will be discussed when the installation date is booked in with you.
